The Cavity Ball with an extended neck was designed for procedures that demand precision deep inside the cavity. Because the shank is narrower and longer than on a standard ball bur, it does not obscure the working area, and you keep direct vision on the excavation front rather than working blind.

The burs work on the shark-tooth principle: as the upper layer of diamond grains wears away, fresh grains from the layers beneath are automatically exposed. Cutting efficiency therefore stays constant instead of declining over the life of the instrument.
