DiaDent has been developing and manufacturing endodontic materials since 1985. Gutta percha and paper points are what the company is known for; today the range also covers restoratives, adhesives and cordless obturation devices.
The company was founded in South Korea, where its head office and main production remain. It also has offices in the United States and Canada and a European branch in the Netherlands, and supplies through a network of more than 900 dental dealers in over 127 countries.
Gutta percha and paper points look like simple products, and they are not. A cone that does not match the taper the file cut will not reach working length, or will reach it without tug-back. A paper point that does not match the preparation will not dry the apical third. DiaDent manufactures its points to the geometry of established rotary systems, ProTaper, ProTaper Next, ProFile, Hero, K3, so they are selected by the file used, not by guesswork.
The Korean manufacturing facility has held ISO 9001 certification and the CE mark since 1998.
