Diamond BursThree series for zirconia: shaping, long-life grinding and ultra-fine finishing of oxide ceramics.
Zirconia does not behave like enamel or feldspathic ceramic. It is harder, it heats up faster, and a standard diamond bur loses its grain within a few minutes of contact. The Zirconia-Worker range exists because of that: three series, each with a different diamond-to-bond ratio.
Work with light contact pressure and adequate cooling. Zirconia is sensitive to heat generated by excessive pressure, and localised overheating can initiate microcracks that only become visible clinically much later.
